Microsoft says: “We recommend that all users who wish to keep their uploaded content, to take action and to download three-dimensional model Remix3D.com to another file storage and sharing platform files as soon as possible, since the service Remix3D.com will be available after January 10. …After the closure of the site Remix3D.com we hope to optimize our offers in this field and provide you with a more consistent experience. We appreciate your support and your patience during this transition process”.
In addition, the company will soon release updates, after which users Remix 3D will no longer be able to log in to your account from Paint 3D, 3D Builder, the Photos app and from PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. While support for inserting 3D models in these programs will be saved.
Download your three-dimensional model, you can go to the website Remix 3D and clicking the “My content” in the upper left corner of the page. On this new page you should choose a three-dimensional model you want to download and click “Download model.” After the site is closed Remix 3D Microsoft will remove all user-created three-dimensional models and associated metadata from their systems, and users will no longer be able to download or request copies.
